Cathedral Caverns State Park

Cathedral Caverns where you can see world’s largest cave opening, the world’s largest frozen waterfall and Goliath, the worlds largest stalagmite. Cathedral Caverns that’s where! Cathedral Caverns State Park is located in Grant, Alabama.

Year round exhibitions. A permanent collection that includes a wide selection of Indian artifacts, tools and arrowheads; a TVA room that traces the building of Guntersville Dam; a Gem Room that has many specimens of rocks, minerals and gems from around the world; and several rooms that house items from Guntersville history. Hours: Tu-F 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sat-Sun 1-4 p.m. Closed Mondays. Free.

Kilpatrick Motocross

Kilpatrick Motocross opened when Farrol Bruce’s sons convinced him to convert their 40-acre farm into a raceway. A natural terrain motocross style track is close to 1.2 miles long and offers wide open range on a loomey sand soil track. The site is now included in the 15-race Alabama State Championships Series

Snead State Community College Museum

Whole Backstage Theatre
256-582-SHOW, The newly renovated Whole Backstage Theatre, Marshall County's Community Theatre for over 30 years, has produced a wide range of quality shows. It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization.
