In the spring, Guntersville celebrates the talent and originality of local and regional artisans at the annual Art on the Lake event in April. The event features more than 120 artisans, as well as music, food, and children’s activities. Art on the Lake is held along the waterfront.

The Annual Alabama Farm and Poultry Expo & Spring Outdoor Show is also held in April. This 2-day event showcases Farm and Garden Equipment, RVs, Boats, ATVs, Arts & Crafts, Children’s Play Area, Folk-Life Exhibits, Daily Live Entertainment, Food & Retail Vendors, BBQ Chicken Grilling Contest and a KFC Chicken Eating Contest. You can also enjoy Farm & Garden Stores and the Marshall County Extension Service is offering Educational Farm Sessions and Demonstrations. Free Admission!

In the summer, Arab pays homage to the Poke Salad (a green grown in abundance around North Alabama) with the annual Poke Salat Festival in May. This festival includes arts and craft vendors, food, children’s activities, and a concert in the city park. Local restaurants offer up a variety of dishes featuring the honorary poke salad plant.

Music takes front and center stage in August with Albertville’s Main Street Music Festival. With two days of music and fun, families will find a variety of entertainment including food, vendors, and even water fun.

Find a great bargain at the Grant Mile Plus Yard Sale, held on the last Saturday in September. This event attracts booth vendors from all across North Alabama and has become an annual tradition, stretching the length of Main Street atop Grant Mountain.

The Annual Boaz October Harvest Festival is held in October in Downtown Boaz, AL. A Southern tradition, this festival offers Miss Harvest Festival Pageant, Antique Classic Car Show, 5K Harvest Moon Midnight Run, 200+ Vendors, Arts & Crafts, Delicious Food, Motorcycle Poker Run, Fun Children's Area, Chili Cook-off, Moon Pie eating/RC Cola drinking contest and Entertainment. From Thanksgiving to Christmas, Arab City Park is a-light with Christmas in the Park. More than two million lights are displayed along the park’s mile-long walking trail. Visitors can walk the paved walkway and enjoy the magical display of festive lights each evening until around 10 p.m.
